Operation instruction:

1) Turn on the device by pressing the ‘ON/OFF’ button.

2) Apply coupling gel to the surface of probe.

3) Expose the abdomen of mother and start with the probe on the midline of the abdomen and

aimed downward behind the pubic bone.

4) It is important to maintain good coupling at all times with no air bubbles between probe and

abdomen.

5) Move the probe slowly to scan for heartbeat.

6) The fetal heartbeat sounds like a galloping horse and is about twice the rate of mother’s

heart beat.
